For us, every piece of waste has value. At our four plants, we manage, store and treat urban and special waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, transforming it into new resources for communities.
This consists of three plant lines. The line for the treatment and recovery of road sweepings allows approximately 90% of the incoming waste to be recovered and transformed into certified quality sand, gravel and grit that can be reused as raw materials in the construction industry. The two lines for sorting recoverable solid waste from separate collection (paper/cardboard packaging and plastic/light multi-material packaging) allow 30,000 tonnes per year of waste from separate collection to be recovered, including waste from municipalities where AVR is the urban sanitation service provider.
This platform is authorised to treat, recondition, store and stockpile special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste collected in the area through macro-collection and micro-collection circuits and delivered by third parties.
This platform is authorised to treat, temporarily store, stockpile, dispose of and/or recover non-hazardous special waste. Its treatment capacity is approximately 80,000 tonnes per year. A semi-automatic plant is in operation for the selection, sorting and pressing of waste from separate collection in both urban and industrial/commercial areas, which is then sent for recovery through the consortium supply chain.
